Sometimes we come together looking for guidance. There is a question weighing on our hearts, a decision we are struggling with, or an experience we would like to understand.
And sometimes, we simply want company.
We want to hear a familiar voice, share something funny, or sit with people who welcome our curiosity. We might have had a beautiful day and want someone to celebrate with us. We might have had a difficult one and appreciate a little laughter.
I’ve been thinking about making more room for those moments.
Through my readings and our YouTube gatherings, I hear so many thoughtful questions about purpose, relationships, spiritual experiences, and the changes people are moving through. I’m grateful for the trust behind those conversations.
But I also love the unexpected little exchanges. Someone asks about an object behind me. A story brings back a memory. We discover something we have in common, and suddenly we’re laughing together.
Those moments matter to me, too. They are part of how we get to know one another.
A beautiful conversation with my sister Nanette helped inspire an idea: a more relaxed live gathering within our YouTube Membership Zone. Somewhere we can bring our questions and also enjoy wherever the conversation takes us.
I picture it like a picnic party. Bring your favourite drink, pull up a chair, and settle in. Some days we may explore something profound. Other days, a simple question might lead to a story about my creative life, my cats, or an experience I haven’t thought about in years.
You know me—there will probably be a little blip, blap, bloop along the way! 😁
Spiritual questions will always be welcome. So will questions about everyday life, creativity, and the experiences that have shaped us. And if you feel like listening quietly, that is welcome, too.
You don’t have to prepare something impressive before joining us.
As winter approaches here in Quebec, my golden Trans Am is getting ready for its seasonal hibernation in the garage. Our members’ Park & Spread videos have been a lovely way to spend time together during the warmer months. For winter, these new live gatherings will take their place.
The setting is changing, and I’m looking forward to being able to respond to you in the moment—to follow a thought together, hear what it brings up for someone else, and let the conversation unfold.
